We received the following Email the other day and wanted to share it with everyone.

Hi, 
You don't know me, but you know my family, Judy Abbott and family. She is my baby sister. I do so enjoy visiting your Seymour Arm web site. Especially the rare photo I pick out of Judy or Kelly and family. We were last there in August of 1986. Christine had her first birthday then. I lived in Seymour arm from June 1963 to April 1966.  My ex-husband and I rebuilt and opened the Seymour Arm Hotel. At the time we took it over, all the windows were broken, it had barbed wire wrapped around it and someone had kept goats in it. It was setting all lop-sided in the sand.  The whole thing had to be jacked up and leveled. I have some photos of it before we started, if you think you would be interested in them. We also built the float house and raft where Alf Daniels has his store. The last winter I lived there, there was only Alf & Ernie Daniels, Myself and my two children that stayed all winter. It's hard for me to believe the changes that have taken place there. We didn't even have a road out except in the summer and then it took a 4x4 to drive it.
