Seymour Arm offers a safe swimming area for children, sandy beaches, excellent water ski area, and Silver Beach Provincial park, which is rated as the best beach on the Shuswap. Indian paintings which are over 100 years old on a rock face at Beach Bay. Celista Falls, accessible by walking loop trail, and Seymour River waterfalls.There are a number of hiking trails in the area. Annual sockeye salmon run in late August in Seymour River.

Seymour Arm offers the following amenities:
Floating grocery/liquor store & marina, sea doo rentals, Historic Seymour Arm Hotel with dining facilities, Lakefront Pub, boat launch dock. Community baseball diamond, volleyball courts and horseshoe pits

From the Trans Canada Highway and the Squilax Bridge (6 km east of Chase) travel the North Shore of the Shuswap on paved roads to Anglemont and St. Ives (approx. 45 minutes) continue on gravel road for approximately 40 km to Seymour Arm townsite (follow signs)
