 Cabin out buildings and fire protection

Main cabin built in 1977 Changed cedar shingle roof to metal roof in 2002 32' wide x 26' deep

2nd cabin built in 1975 14 X 20 added 10 x 14 with upstairs in about 1993

Shop built in 1995 added 4th bay 2003 note new roof   24' x 65'

Private fire hydrant located within 60 feet of all buildings 2" in produces 170lb head pressure can be active in less than 30 seconds
can service 3 -1.5 line  with over 300 gal per minute We have at least 600 feet of 1.5" fire hose

Fire pump house built summer of 2004 located 10 feet from high water

New 11hp Hale fire pump 3" intake and 2.5" out  pumps 300 gal per min electric start purchased spring 2004 can service 3 - 1.5" fire hoses.  2.5" to 1.5" wyes plus 2 more 1.5" wyes fire hose etc.

The private hydrants are the best protection for personal property. All family and guests undergo training with the fire hydrants.
