All new hook-up requests must
be approved by the Board of Directors.
Once approved, the property owner must complete and submit two applications, one to Front Counter BC,
and one to the Seymour Arm Water Users' Community, along with the appropriate funds. Both applications and cheques must be returned to SAWUC for approval.
The current fees are: a $100.00 application fee payable to Minister of Finance, and $4,850.00 payable to Seymour
Arm Water Users' Community (SAWUC). The amount of $4,850 is distributed between Member's Share cost at $3,000.00
and initial hook up fee at $1,850.00.
The annual fee thereafter is $300.00 which is generally billed in May. This fee is distributed between operating costs of $250.00 and $50.00 is put
towards a Capital Reserve Fund for future line improvements.
After appropriate paperwork is in place, the hook-up can be scheduled for a later date. Unless there is an
emergency, we generally schedule any repairs and new hook-ups only once or twice a
